First Step. Second Step. Third Step. I look up to see the light shining brightly on me. I continued walking as I counted my steps. Ending my last step, I took a 360 degree turn. Slowly as I turn, I took a closer look at the view in front of me. To me, this was better that any place in the world. When I finished my turn, a human figure caught my attention. Our eyes met. He smiled. I followed. "Okaeri" He shouted from afar. He then started walking and his pace slowly increase. His body soon went into contact with mine. I could slowly feel how warm it was. How much I have missed. "Tadaima" I whispered into his ears as it was only meant for him.
Sitting at the highest point of Tokyo Dome, we could see everything. People like ants were rushing here and there. Trying to set up the equipments for tommorow's concert. It was half-done. "Isn't this beautiful?" I asked. He nodded silently while looking at it too. "Is this why you choose this industry to work in?" He asked. The Dome then went pitch dark with only a spotlight shining at the middle of the stage. The guys were testing out the lights. I then pointed to that shining stage and said "This is the reason." I smiled. He knew I love my job in stage production. It has been 3 years since I started to work for 'Nihon stage'. And that was how I met him. A year ago, I was sent to Taiwan to work for one year. There was no way I could reject this chance knowing it would benefit me. A year has passed since then. Now, I am glad that I'm back in Japan.
He then held my hand, felt my bone and look at me from head to toe. "You lost weight, didn't you?" I did the same thing to him. "Same applies to you!" He didn't replied but only hit my head lightly, "My dearest girl has grown up!" I could only smile at him.
"I miss you!" I hugged him. "There were so many nights that I cried just because I couldn't see you." he wiped away my tears that were falling. There were just too much emotions that I was feeling. Just so many things I want to tell him but I could not. It was just silence between us the next few minutes. "Want me to show you a gag?" He asked. "Okay here it is. Recently people always call me Parka-san instead of my name. Everytime I try to correct them, they still call me Parka-san. Kyoretsu! Chichai koto kinishinai. Wakachiko, Wakachiko!!" I giggled and he sigh a sense of relieve. "Thank you." I thank him. Just then his handphone started ringing. He had to go due to a meeting. "Meet me over here for dinner. I will bring the bento!" and he left.
Dinner time, the stage production crew had finished what we were supposed to. After a last minute check before tommorow final check, everything was in perfect condition. I packed up everything then went back to the same spot. There he was already with 2 bento boxes on his lap. "I heard you were coming back today. So I decided to make us a bento" as he passed me the pink bento box. I look at him with a puzzled face. I opened the box to see 4 onigiri. "I know I shouldn't be expecting too much or doubting you but are these edible?" He looked at me like I said something wrong. "Of course! Come on try it." Taking out the 1st onigiri from the box and passing it to me. I took the first bite and gave him the 'Ok' sign. He smiled. Took the 2nd bite, 'OUCH!'. I bite onto something hard and it was making my teeth hurt. I took out that solid object and realized it was what I least expected.
Silver and glittering. I glanced over to him and saw him blushing. "You are the most old-school guy I have ever seen! Dude, what if I swollow it? That would be money gone down my stomach!" His smile slowly turn into a frown. I chuckled. "I was just joking. I love it so much! Thank you!" I hugged him. He then whispered that question into my ears and I nodded. "No sex until after marriage!" I warned him before giving him a kiss.
